LATINA Executives from Sonic Drive-in and Wells Fargo & Company Recognized at the 23rd Annual LATINA Style 50 Awards and Diversity Leaders Conference

   May 17, 2021 Dallas, T.X. – On April 29th, LATINA Style Inc., the premier company addressing the needs of Latina professionals and business owners in the United States hosted the 23rd Annual LATINA Style 50 Awards and Diversity Leaders Conference, honoring leading Latina Corporate Executives, Employee Resource Groups and highest-ranking Latinas from the 2020 LATINA Style 50 companies list.

Claudia San Pedro – President – at Sonic Drive-in, was recognized as the Top LATINA Style Corporate Executive of the Year and Patty Juarez, Executive Vice President Head of Diverse Segments-Commercial Banking, at Wells Fargo & Company, and ERG President for Latin Connection, accepted the Employee Resource Group of the Year award on behalf of the company ERG.

In its 12th consecutive year, the LATINA Style Corporate Executive of the Year award honors influential Latinas, selected by their peers, as leaders and examples the Hispanic community and for the professional women in the U.S. Each year LATINA Style Inc. recognizes the achievement and dedication Latinas are performing at the top of their respective companies and in various industries.

San Pedro is the President at Sonic Drive-in. She is responsible for overseeing its brand’s marketing and operations teams. She is also responsible for the growth and success of SONIC’s company-owned restaurants and the brand’s relationship with its franchise community. Mexican-born, San Pedro serves on the boards of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, BOK Financial, and the Foundation for Oklahoma City Public Schools.

Since 2010 LATINA Style, Inc. has recognized and honored the best Hispanic Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) in the country. This year, Wells Fargo & Company, Latin Connection was honored as the Top Employee Resource Group of the Year. This recognition showcases ERGs that have an impact on career outcomes and overall diversity accomplishments for their respective companies.

Patty Juarez, ERG President / Executive Vice President, Head of Diverse Segments-Commercial Banking, Wells Fargo & Company, has paved the way for many throughout her 26-year career at Wells Fargo, Juarez is responsible for creating, developing, and executing Wells Fargo’s diverse segments strategy within several lines of business. Juarez was appointed the President of Latin Connection Team Member Network for Wells Fargo, representing over 48,000 Latinos at Wells Fargo – the largest minority group at the Bank at nearly 20% of the workforce. Within her President role, she has helped uplift the Latin agenda for the Latino team members and the Latino community.

The highlight of the program included the Awards ceremony for Bank of America, the number one company for Latinas to Work for in the United States.
