Monika Fontanez is a financial services associate with Prudential Financial. In this role she helps individuals evaluate their current financial situation, identify and prioritize their financial goals and suggest strategies and products that meet their specific needs. Fontanez is based and licensed in New York and holds the Series 6, and Series 63 designations.

Before joining Prudential, Fontanez held several Human Resources positions in the nonprofit and retail sectors. She served as a Human Resources manager at Forestdale Inc, an organization that provides services for children in foster care. She was also Human Resources director for Interfaith Nutrition Network an organization serving the homeless. She was also a trainer at Sears, Roebuck and Company.

Fontanez earned a BS degree in Management with a concentration in Human Resources Management from Binghamton University. During her college years, she created and founded Phi Theta Chi Sorority, Inc, a Latina sorority. She was also a member of the International Business Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi and a member of the Latin American Student Union.

In addition to being passionate about helping individuals meet their financial goals, Fontanez is also passionate about music. She is part owner of an independent record label and recording studio, sings in a Christian Latin Gospel group and serves as worship leader at her church.
